my 1st mothers day!!!

On mothers day my family ate over at my Aunt Debbis' house in bryant, ar.  My grandma and aunt deb fixed ribs and steaks with bbq sauce and it was awesome! there were of course all the fixins: salad, mac n chz, sweet potato, beans, etc! I luv family time, and my husband wanted my first mothers day to be special so Luke and my wonderful hubby got me a necklace  ( seen in pics below )  with Luke's birthstone and diamonds! I know what you are thinking " dang she is spoiled " ... and all I have to say to that is   I KNOW!!!  lol

Cali turns 4!!!

Luke went to his fist birthday party at a park in Bryant.  Cali (Luke's cousin)  turned 4, we had pizza, cupcakes, and drinks.  All the kids played and we watched Cali open her presents.  Meme drove her new car, so we rode with her, it is very comfortable, and looks awesome too.

Misc.....

         Mary Wade, Luke, and I did some shopping on Friday May 6, after she brought pizza and watermelon for lunch.  Then on Saturday morning we took Luke to the Farmers Market down at the River Market for his first visit ever, so many Arkansas grown fruits and vegetables, plants I have never seen before, but don't forget CASH, expensive! but u get what u pay for, fresh great food!

Three months old

          Lacy and I are so proud of our little guy!  He is now smiling all the time, moving around alot more, he is talking more(baby talk.lol), and sleeping alot better(from 10:30 pm til 7:30 am)!  The most exciting: HE ROLLED OVER 3 TIMES IN 1 DAY:)      We have been keeping very busy; on a daily basis we read several books, take a bath, have tummy time, and one of his favorite things is to hang out with mommy and daddy outside on the deck or in the hammock!  and since the storms have quit we have been taking walks again , he loves his stroller:)

The Godsey Wedding

      Mary Grimes married Sammy Godsey on Sat 4/16/11.  The Culpepper family was in the wedding, so we have some really good pics.  The ceremony and reception took place at Lacy's moms' house, we set up tents, catered bbq, had cake, and music! It got really cold really quick so that shortened the party to a min, but still a great day and we thank all the family and friends that were able to make it and celebrate this joyous day:)
