 I know it is April, but the biggest thing to happen this year so far is we now have a teenager in our house! In February we had a small celebration for Luke, because he did not want a party, even though I tried to talk him into it.  On Friday 2/2 Lacy, my mom, Luke, and I went to the movies to see Argyle, we all loved it so much! It was a really good movie, great story, and lots of action. Then Saturday 2/3 Luke invited 3 of his friends to go to dinner at benihanas, then we went to an escape room, and last but not least they all spent the night. I ordered a cookie cake from our favorite bakery, humble crumb located just down the street, Luke loves cookie cakes!

Almost 10

 I cannot believe I have a kid who is about to be 10!! Watching Luke grow has been the most amazing gift in my life ever! I always wanted to be a mommy and am so blessed God choose me to be Luke’s mommy   

Because of covid we are not doing the big party as usual but instead we are renting a limousine for Luke and his 2 friends to go on a scavenger hunt. I’m so excited and can’t wait!! 

Lacy and I are now parents of a 1year old! Crazy.... Luke 1:) wow-best year ever!!!!

Luke does not allow me to have much computer time, ok none!  I can play with him, his toys, my phone, but not the computer! He wants it and if I try to do it while he is in bath he splashes even more than normal.lol  A bunch has happened in the last eight months:

Luke now has 12 teeth, he is crawling with one knee never touching the ground, he eats grown up food now! and best of all he is just so busy, which makes him a complete joy to watch all day, everyday!

He had an amazing 1st birthday party at American Pie Pizza in NLR. There were tons of family and friends who came to celebrate with Luke.  We had the dinosaur theme, served pizza and salad, had a 2 tier dino cake, and lots of FUN!

The very next day was super bowl sunday, so we went and had family pictures taken for Lukes' 1st bday!

Lacy, Luke, and I took a vacation to PCB, we have the Garske family that lives in Lynn Haven, Fl which is about 30 mins away.  Madisynn is turning 4 soon and Braylon is turning 2 soon, and since Derek is getting deployed they decided to throw the kids birthday parties early! and we went!!!!  We stayed at Sterling Breeze and let me tell ya it was really really nice, very clean, great view, awesome location!!!  We visited the Pier Park, we went to a local pool for kids that had a grown up slide that went really fast, we had a beach day, we went to gymnastics plus for Madisynn's Birthday party on sat and sun they grilled hot dogs for Braylon's Birthday party!  On Friday we ate at Sharky's with The Garske clan and some of their friends and Aimee's mom....while we were there a soldier surprised his wife and three kids by coming home 2 weeks early from a deployment in Afghanistan.  The whole restaurant was in tears,including me, and since the new was there Luke and I made the Channel 7 PCB News,lol. I was wiping my tears away while holding Luke in  my arms.

my 1st mothers day!!!

On mothers day my family ate over at my Aunt Debbis' house in bryant, ar.  My grandma and aunt deb fixed ribs and steaks with bbq sauce and it was awesome! there were of course all the fixins: salad, mac n chz, sweet potato, beans, etc! I luv family time, and my husband wanted my first mothers day to be special so Luke and my wonderful hubby got me a necklace  ( seen in pics below )  with Luke's birthstone and diamonds! I know what you are thinking " dang she is spoiled " ... and all I have to say to that is   I KNOW!!!  lol
