The family went on a cruise to Alaska, and it was Luke’s first time flying on a commercial flight. We flew into Seattle, where we boarded the ship. Before the cruise, we spent a couple of days exploring the city. We visited the Space Needle and the Chihuly Garden and Glass, enjoyed fresh seafood at the famous Fish Market, and spent some quality family time down at the pier.
We had a great time on the Carnival Spirit Cruise Ship, we did a train ride excursion in Skagway, the views were breathtaking, and weather was so much nicer than back home, we loved wearing hoodies, jackets, and boots. Then we took a self-guided Jeep tour in Juneau, where we saw bears, hoary marmots, and found driftwood on the beach. Lastly in Ketchikan we watched the lumberjacks duke it out in a tournament of the fittest and then ate so much wonderful crab at the Crab Feast. Here are a few pictures:
